Privacy in Crosterix is designed for protection, not concealment of crimes. It’s a user-centric privacy layer, not a mixing or laundering tool.
Core Principles
Transparency of logic: All smart-contract calls use open, audited DeFi routers (1inch, 0x, Li.Fi). Anyone can verify transactions without exposing user identities.
No custody or fund control: Crosterix never holds user funds, private keys, or swap routes. Users always sign transactions directly from their wallet.
No centralized data collection: No databases, no analytics, no tracking pixels. Only minimal metadata for file expiry is stored — never user information.
Legal neutrality: The system complies with privacy laws (GDPR-friendly) because it does not store personal data. Developers and node operators are responsible for local regulatory compliance when deploying forks or integrations.
